By Pastor Aaron Austin, June 15, 2025

Scriptural Focus: Genesis 2:18; Acts 2:42; Ecclesiastes 4:9-12; Hebrews 10:24-25

God Created Us For .

“The Lord God said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone.’” Genesis 2:18

describes a shared way of life with others – a shared faith and a shared purpose.

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2:42

This kind of fellowship matters because (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12):

  • When one , someone is there to pick them up.
  • When one is , the other brings warmth.
  • When one is , the other protects.

We are to be an people. (Job 4:4; Hebrews 10:24-25)

  • Encouragement is in action.
  • Relationships over

Jesus – The One. “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20)

Has there been a person in your life who has been a “Faithful Presence”? If so, what has been the impact of that person’s life on yours? Who might need you to be a faithful presence in their life?

What do you think “Koinonia” should look like in your church? Where do you see it happening? How can you be a part of nurturing this kind of fellowship and participation in your church family?
