Scriptural Focus: Genesis 2:18; Acts 2:42; Ecclesiastes 4:9-12; Hebrews 10:24-25 God Created Us For . “The Lord God said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone.’” Genesis 2:18 describes a shared way of life with others – a shared faith and a shared purpose. “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2:42 This kind of fellowship matters because (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12): When one , someone is there to pick them up. When one is , the other brings warmth. When one is , the other protects. We are to be an people. (Job 4:4; Hebrews 10:24-25) Encouragement is in action.
