Scriptural Focus: Ezekiel 37:1-14 “…these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’” Ezekiel 37:11 Can These Bones ? He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” Ezekiel 37:3 When we can no longer imagine anything good taking place in our situation, our lives, or even in the world around us, God offers a vision for what can be. the Word of the Lord. Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!’” Ezekiel 37:4 The Word of the Lord reveals not only the truth of where we are, but it also declares that God is greater than our circumstances. It is the of God which changes everything. Come, of God. “I will put my Spirit in you and you will live…” Ezekiel 37:14 The message and vision that Ezekiel is given here, is not simply a word of encouragement. This is creation. Jesus Gives Life Where There is Death. The same God who raised Jesus from the dead, now breathes His into the church.
