Governing The Land

By Pastor Eric Schroeder, May 18, 2025

When we find ourselves going back to a sin or bondage that means we haven’t fully surrendered our lives to God in that area, and closed the door, and burnt the plow in that area of our lives.

Some may say yes, amen, that is great I receive it. I say it comes at a cost, to receive we must fully give, and surrender everything to God. We must come to a point that we ask ourselves, and we ask God what am I holding onto that I haven’t fully surrendered to You? The price will be hard, but the reward will be even greater.

This week we are going to start talking about being the Ekklesia (the called out ones).

Matthew 18:18-20 NASB

What is the Ekklesia and what does it truly mean?

It means the ones, the assembling of the saints . What happens when we come out of our homes, and gather as unified believers? We become the Ekklesia or the church.

When we assemble, we become the church a powerful force that has been given the authority to bind, and to lose, and when we assemble, we have the knowledge and understanding that Jesus is here right now, in this place right in the middle of us all.

This is why the enemy tries so hard to keep us home, separated, and brings distraction, and other methods when we are coming to church. There is disagreements, frustrations, and other things, why? To prevent us from fully entering and from fully coming together united.

Matthew 28:18-20 NASB

Jesus said all authority has been given to Him, and that same authority He has given to us to use, and when we come together and use that authority things begin to shake in the spiritual realm, things begin to shift in the spiritual realm, things begin to move in the spiritual realm.

We have been given the authority to make changes, and to loose freedoms. We have authority to bind the works of the enemy and loose the blessings of God over a region or territory, and even over our families.

When we come together as saints, as the Ekklesia, we have been given even more strength to contend for a shift in the atmosphere.

We are called to bring change to a city, county, and territory, and we will do it as an Assembly of believers, who knows Jesus is right here, right now, in the middle of us listening to our decrees, and sending out angels on assignment.
