Pharaoh, Pharaoh

I Have Questions

The Bible is even when it’s hard to understand

Ex. 8:15 – But when Pharaoh saw that there was a respite, he hardened his heart and would not listen to them, as the Lord had said.

Ex. 9:12 – But the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he did not listen to them, as the Lord had spoken to Moses.

God is ultimately in and you get to make

Prov. 28:14b – "Whoever hardens his heart will fall into calamity”

Heart hardening is an over exposure and an under to truth

Ex. 8:1-3 – Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘This is what the Lord says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me. If you refuse to let them go, I will send a plague of frogs on your whole country. The Nile will teem with frogs. They will come up into your palace and your bedroom and onto your bed, into the houses of your officials and on your people, and into your ovens and kneading troughs.

Ex. 8:8-10a – Then Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron and said, “Plead with the Lord to take away the frogs from me and from my people, and I will let the people go to sacrifice to the Lord.” Moses said to Pharaoh, “Be pleased to command me when I am to plead for you and for your servants and for your people, that the frogs be cut off from you and your houses and be left only in the Nile.” And he said, “Tomorrow.” Moses said, “Be it as you say…”

Heb. 3:7b-8a – “Today, if you hear his voice, “Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion…”

We develop a compliance

Rom. 6:23a – For the wages of sin is death…

Disobedience releases in our lives

Matt. 27:45 – Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.

Rom. 6:23 – For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
