On The Edge

How do I bounce back when…

1. I

2 Chronicles 33:6 Manasseh also sacrificed his own sons in the fire in the valley of Ben-Hinnom. He practiced sorcery, divination, and witchcraft, and he consulted with mediums and psychics. He did much that was evil in the LORD’s sight, arousing his anger.

2 Chronicles 33:9 But Manasseh led the people of Judah and Jerusalem to do even more evil than the pagan nations that the LORD had destroyed when the people of Israel entered the land.

2 Chronicles 33:12-13 But while in deep distress, Manasseh sought the LORD his God and sincerely humbled himself before the God of his ancestors. And when he prayed, the LORD listened to him and was moved by his request. So the LORD brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh finally realized that the LORD alone is God!

Proverbs 26:11 As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his foolishness.

2. OTHERS ME

Genesis 50:20 - You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.

Galatians 6:7 - Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.

3. THINGS DON'T WORK OUT LIKE I ?

“Enthusiasm is common. Endurance is rare.” - Angela Duckworth

Romans 8:18 - Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.

Romans 8:26-28 - And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

“Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.” —Virginia Satir

Galatians 6:9 - So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
