Psalm 107:10-11 There were those who lived in darkness and in the shadow of death, Prisoners in misery and chains, Because they had rebelled against the words of God And rejected the plan of the Most High. 2. LIGHT DOESN’T JUST HAPPEN. IT IS GIVEN. Genesis 1:3 Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. SPIRITUALLY, THERE’S ONLY ONE TRUE LIGHT. John 1:8-9 John himself was not the light; he was simply a witness to tell about the light. The one who is the true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. 1 Peter 2:9 But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.
