Introduction: In Romans 6:1-2 Paul emphatically declared that we are not to continue in sin that grace might abound. We learned that we have died to the reign of sin whose power led us to death and separation from God and we now live under a new benevolent ruler called grace who is using even greater power to transform us into the image of Christ as He leads us to eternal life. As we get to verse 3 Paul is going to begin to explain or unpack this idea even more.
