Introduction: Here we have a continuation of last week where Paul began explaining to us why we should not even entertain sin for a moment in our lives. 19a I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. Apart from , freedom nor righteousness will ever be found. 21 What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. Fruit is something that is . Regarding our old life no fruit or good is to be found. The end of that life was . How can sin still negatively impact our lives as believers? 22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. In Christ you set free and you slaves of God and you are in a place of fruit bearing. Righteous - This is what we be. Righteous - This is what we do. Righteous - This is what we sew. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
