Introduction: In Romans 8 we learn how we will be rescued from this body of death. In verses 5-8 we saw how the Spirit gives us victory on this side of the grave but what about the other side, after we die? In this passage Paul wants us to rest assured that we have victory on both sides. Let’s see what he says, 9b Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. 10 & if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. **Discussion Questions and Action Items:** What do the different elements of the balloon analogy represent (the balloon and string, the store, the wind/helium, the trees, etc.)?
