Introduction- Romans 10:10 says, that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. In our text today, Paul will continue to defend and explain this foundational truth for those who find it hard to believe.

11a For the Scripture says,

• It was difficult for Jews to believe that could be saved and that salvation comes apart from the of the law.

• Paul shows that everything he says is grounded in the Bible.

11b Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.

• Believe means more than just agreeing with the facts.

• It is an inner conviction whereby you yourself to what you believe.

• The result is that we will not be put to before God.

12a For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek,

• Jews and gentiles still exist but it doesn’t regarding our salvation in Christ.

• In other words, the ground is at the foot of the cross.

12b for the same Lord (is) over all

• There is God who is over .

• If you be in Christ, you are with God and we are to be with each other.

12c is rich to all who call upon Him.

• God is rich, He has an of all we need.

• Our problem is that we often don’t recognize our need.

• Don’t mistake needs and overlook the greatest need.

• You need to be made with God.

13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
