Introduction- What do we do with this Gospel message that Paul has just given us? This passage is for the church. It is not for the lost person but rather, for those who have the ability to show the lost man or woman the way home. It is an earnest call for all believers to share the good news. 14a How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? In order for faith to be effective it must be by calling on or confessing the Lord as savior. The lost person must on the Lord before they can call upon Him. 14b And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? The lost person cannot believe in something that they don’t about. Sharing the Gospel is the means this information is made known. 14c And how shall they hear without a preacher? The role of preacher is not to pastors and evangelists. The word preacher is someone who something. 15a And how shall they preach unless they are sent? To send means to someone to go forth and share the good news. It is at the very of what we need to be doing as a church. You need to know the of the gospel and have the to deliver it. The role of the is not to do all the sharing but to equip you and send you out. 15b As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!” It isn’t feet that make them beautiful. It is the those feet bring that make them beautiful.
