Introduction: How does the Spirit of God transform us? How do I become more and more holy, more and more like Him, each and every day? Moreover, how can I know the will of God for my life? These are all questions we will answer today through our text in Romans.

2c by the renewing of your mind,

• Read Ephesians 4:17-19 and describe the untransformed unrenewed mind.

• Read Ephesians 4:20-24 and describe the renewal process and the result.
• Read 1 Peter 1:22-23 what part does the Spirit and the Word have in your sanctification? What does the seed being incorruptible teach us?
• Read 2 Tim 3:13-17. What are Holy Scriptures good for? Why is it important that we continue in the Scriptures?
• The Spirit of God using the Word of God not only us but it continues to our minds when we take in the Word, learn it and by faith allow it to reshape how we think and live.This transformation is called sanctification.
• Consider all the distractions and sources that try and overwhelm you with things that are contrary to the truth of God’s Word. How important is it for you to keep your mind renewed and in tune? What things should you change to improve the renewal process and limit distractions?

2d that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

• The result of this renewed mind is that we can the will of God in our life.

• How does Paul describe the will of God in this verse?

• Why does this need to be a continuous lifelong commitment or process?
