Introduction: Last week we looked at the body of Christ or the church of Jesus. We saw that believers are the many members or parts of the body and though we are different, we have been assembled together into a united whole that is dependent upon Jesus, our head, and even each other. All of this is necessary and according to God’s design. This week Paul will give some instructions on how the parts are to serve for the good of the body. Paul is giving instructions to the entire body of Christ (even those not mentioned) by giving instructions to certain parts of the body as an example that should be followed by everyone.
