15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

Jesus is the image of the invisible God

1 Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets,2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things,through whom also he created the world.3 He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth

No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him

All we can know and understand of God is seen in Christ

Jesus is the supreme heir, owner, maker, sustainer…and reconciler of all things
