Joyride

God is to finish what He’s

Philippians 1:1-6 (NIV)

Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus,

To all God’s holy people in Christ Jesus at Philippi, together with the overseers and deacons:

2 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 I thank my God every time I remember you. 4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,

6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Justification — Sanctification — Glorification

1. Justification

An act of God whereby he pronounces a sinner to be righteous

Romans 5:1 (NIV)

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

2. Sanctification

The process by which Christians are set apart and made holy

3. Glorification

God’s final removal of sin from the life of his people so that they stand faultless before Him in eternity

Romans 8:18 (NIV)

18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
