The Young Woman and the Sea

Now Playing

Perseverance requires your purpose to be greater than your pain.

Encountering Opposition

Acts 14:19 But Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and having persuaded the crowds, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead.

Following Jesus means suffering like Jesus.

Are you prepared to suffer?

Exhibiting Determination

Acts 14:20 But when the disciples gathered about him, he rose up and entered the city, and on the next day he went on with Barnabas to Derbe.

Actions speak louder than words.

What is your life saying about your faith?

Enduring Tribulations

Acts 14:21-22 When they had preached the gospel to that city and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra and to Iconium and to Antioch, [22] strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.

The christian life is a marathon, not a sprint.

Who’s encouraging you to persevere in your faith?
