God’s Love Not Ours

Song of Solomon 8:6b-7 ..for love is strong as death,jealousy is fierce as the grave. Its flashes are flashes of fire, the very flame of the Lord. 7 Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it.


1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never ends.


1 John 4:16 So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.



Marriages may start with human Love, but they finish with God’s Love.



We need to Know Love, before we Can Love.

John 17:26 Jesus says “I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me (perfect Love) may be in them, and I in them”.



Marriage is a love story pointing to the greatest love story.
