Kingdom Values

Citizens of the Kingdom Value Living Like Their King.

1 Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. 3 He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 4 having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs. - Hebrews 1:1-4

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

5 Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 On account of these the wrath of God is coming. 7 In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. 8 But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. -Colossians 3:1-8

“6 whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked. - 1 John 1:26

“12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, 13for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. - Philippians 2:12-13

3 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, 4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. - 2 Timothy 3:1-5

14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it - 2 Timothy 3:14

Faith is a Lifestyle, Not a Moment.

15 and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.- 2 Timothy 3:15

As Parents, It Is Our Responsibility To Teach Our Children The Bible.

The Bible Gives Wisdom that Leads To Salvation.

We need Wisdom in order to receive salvation.

The Wisdom For Salvation is Specific To the Bible

The Bible Has Wisdom For Salvation But we often Prioritize ________ which has Wisdom for __________

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. - 2 Timothy 3:16-17

“7 then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. - Genesis 2:7

“And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit." - John 20:22

The Breath of God Gives Life. The Bible Is the Breath of God.
