Actions Speak Louder: Living What You Say What you say means nothing if your life doesn’t show it. Obedience delayed often becomes obedience denied. The PARABLE OF THE TWO SONS Kingdom Builders: PLAN – VISION – DREAM Matthew 21:28 28 “What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’ Matthew 21:29 29 “‘I will not,’ he answered, but later he changed his mind and went. Matthew 21:30 30 “Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but he did not go. Matthew 21:31 31 “Which of the two did what his father wanted?” “The first,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him. God is not moved by our promises — He’s moved by our obedience. Point 1: the Right Thing Means Nothing Without the Right Thing “I will, sir,' he answered, but he did not go.” (Matthew 21:30) Lip service doesn’t impress God — life change does. Point 2: God Obedience — Even if It Starts with Resistance “I will not,' he answered, but later he changed his mind and went.” (Matthew 21:29) Delayed obedience is still disobedience. You may think you’re just giving — God sees you reaching nations. Point 3: Your Actions Your True Heart “Which of the two did what his father wanted?” (Matthew 21:31) Good intentions don’t grow fruit — obedience does. “The smallest act of obedience is better than the greatest intention.” — Oswald Chambers Your dream may stretch you — but it won’t outstretch God. What will you do? Repent where needed. Put faith into action. Live your faith out loud. God would rather have a messy yes than a polished no. Actions Speak Louder: Living What You Say
