“Relationship” is the most important word in Christianity that’s not in the Bible

Ephesians 6:1 – Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

Ephesians 6:2 – “Honor your father and mother” (this is the first commandment with a promise)

Little kids obey and big kids honor

Honoring your parents means you recognize the authority they represent

There’s a difference between naming and blaming

Psalms 127:3-4 – Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.

It’s crucial for you live privately what you embrace publicly

3 John 1:4 – I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

Ephesians 6:3 – “that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land.”

The greatest parenting curriculum for the next generation is your authentic relationship with God
