Great Opportunities for God's Glory

Isaiah 49:1-16

By Pastor Kelly Mahoney, September 03, 2023

God’s Servant came to make disciples who:

  1. Share God’s -piercing truth.
  1. Reveal God’s by living like Jesus.
  1. Overcome to experience fruitfulness.
  1. Extend God’s to the people on the outside.

Applying God's Word to Life

  1. Who’s someone that has had a major impact on history? What did they do or say? Why was it so impacting to the world?
  2. Give examples of good news that is eagerly passed on to those we know and care about?
  3. What are some of the words that have been used to change your life?
  4. What qualities, characteristics, or actions prove that God is at work in and through someone?
  5. What are some of the changes and challenges that threaten to increase the pain and persecution for Christians living in our current culture?
  6. What are some of God’s instructions and promises regarding how we can be fruitful for Him in this life?
  7. If you were to draw circles to represent the proximity of people to your heart, who’s in the inner circle, who’s just outside the inner circle, who’s in the outer circle, and who’s outside of your circles?
  8. How might Jesus want to use you in this season of your life to speak for Him, act like Him, overcome through Him, and extend His light with Him?
  9. What’s the most strategic step you could take this week to embrace God’s call upon your life in this way?
