By Pastor Kelly, September 17, 2023

Isaiah’s unbelievably good news:

  1. Predicted Jesus’ and .
2. Proclaimed the of Jesus’ salvation.
3. Called everyone to be thru Jesus.

Applying God's Word to Life

  1. Give an example of “too good to be true” news that you struggled to believe? Why?
  2. What would it take for someone to convince you that they really do know the future?
  3. What would change in your life if you trusted the one who knows the future to help you make decisions?
  4. What made it hard for people to accept Jesus and his teachings then?
  5. What makes it hard for people to believe Jesus’ teachings now?
  6. Which of the benefits offered by the suffering savior have you needed the most? When? Why?
  7. What purpose does Isaiah give for Jesus’ suffering, death, burial and resurrection?
  8. What elements of the good news of “the righteousness of God” have you struggled to accept and believe? Why?
  9. Who do you know that has yet to appropriate the justification offered to them by Christ?
  10. What part might the Lord want you to play in sharing this unbelievably good news?
