Feast Your Ears on This

Isaiah 55:1-3

By Pastor Kelly, September 24, 2023

The Lord has issued a clarion call to:

  1. Listen to Jesus’ life-giving .
2. what Jesus is at no cost.
  1. satisfied by Jesus’ abundant provision.

Applying God's Word to Life

  1. What have been some of the best commercials over the years? What made them memorable, compelling, or effective?
  2. What are some of the elements of a good commercial that grab and keep your attention and then move you to action?
  3. For you personally, what other sources of life, direction, and authority compete with God’s Word?
  4. Why was there such a wide-range of responses to Jesus’ teachings (some surrendered to put their lives on the line to follow him while others plotted to kill him)?
  5. Why do we say “I don’t buy that” in reaction to what someone says?
  6. What made / makes it hard to believe the gospel for you?
  7. What have been some of the sources of satisfaction that people have been disappointed by over the years? How about you personally?
  8. Why do we choose to get our fill from things that don’t satisfy, when what we really need is abundantly available?
  9. How do you sense God would have you change your actions, activities, and commitments to eagerly embrace seeking Him and finding your satisfaction in Christ?
