God’s revelation calls everyone to:

  1. out of the darkness into the light.
  2. Become a of light.
  3. Shine Jesus’ light through .
  4. Long for the light to dispel and danger.

Applying God’s Word to Life

  1. What is it about the dark that brings out our fears? Why?
  2. Describe an experience where you had an inordinate fear of the dark?
  3. Why do you think light is to captivating to our eyes?
  4. What keeps people from drawing near to Jesus and his teachings?
  5. What is compelling about Jesus that makes people want to draw near and stay near to him?
  6. How do you describe yourself to others? What does this say about the source of your identity?
  7. What keeps you from applying the light of God’s revelation to your life?
  8. What is compelling about God’s promise that one day all believers will live in his perpetual light?
  9. What is compelling about God’s promise that one day all believers will dwell together in the great city where the gates are never closed?
  10. When you consider the call God’s revelation puts upon us, which one’s have you been living out well? Which areas need some work? Why?
  11. How will you choose to come and live in God’s light right now?
