Powerful Proclamation!

Isaiah 61:1-9; Luke 4:14-30

By Pastor Kelly, October 15, 2023

Following Jesus will lead to:

  1. on God’s power.
  1. to proclaim the good news.
  1. for people greatly in need.

Applying God's Word to Life

  1. Compare what you can accomplish on your own, to what you can do with the help of others, to what you can do with the help of God?
  2. Give an example of a time when you felt like God compelled you to do or not do something or to say or not say something?
  3. What might God move us to do that we ordinarily would not want to, or not be able to, do without his help?
  4. In what ways are you currently relying on God’s Spirit right now?
  5. Give an example of the kinds of good news we readily share with everyone from strangers to loved ones?
  6. How has responding to Jesus brought healing, hope, freedom, and favor to people you have met?
  7. Describe some of the incidents and seasons of your life when you were the most in need of hope, help, and rescue?
  8. Who does God want you to share the good news with right now?
  9. What is the Spirit of the Lord moving you to believe or change right now?
