By Pastor Kelly Mahoney, November 19, 2023

Invest in God’s family through:

  1. Appreciation of those who work hard, accept responsibility, and feed God’s family.
2. of the unity of God’s family.
  1. Participation in service by all siblings.
  1. and prayer while relying on the Father.

Applying God's Word to Life

  1. What’s your favorite entrée and dessert to eat at Thanksgiving?
  2. What’s your favorite food you like to bring or share when you are asked to contribute?
  3. What are some of the behind the scenes blessings others contribute that escape your notice on a regular basis?
  4. Who’s doing the “magic” to empower the “basket” and “coffee table” in your home and in the church?
  5. Who might God want you to take the time to thank this week for how they have served your family?
  6. What’s your current contribution in helping to build the family?
  7. How has worship, thanksgiving, praise, and prayer lifted your spirit and changed your perspective in the past?
  8. What role is prayer currently playing in your family life?
  9. What are you moved to give thanks for right now?
  10. What might God want you to begin to do more often as a result of this time of giving thanks with His family?
