Joseph: The Model for Most

Matthew 1:18-25; 2:13-15, 19-23: Luke 2:41-52

By Pastor Kelly Mahoney, December 17, 2023

The people God most often uses are:

  1. people from an . . .
2. location, who are . . .
  1. to DO their part for Jesus.

Applying God's Word to Life

  1. Who do you most relate to in the nativity scene?
  2. Who are the people who have played a key role in shaping your spiritual life? What was their hometown and their occupation?
  3. What or who has God used the most to get your attention to draw you into his work?
  4. How willing and comfortable are you with speaking publicly?
  5. What behind the scenes work might we regularly overlook that plays an important role in God’s mission and message going forth?
  6. What must be done to “set the stage” for the music, message, and mission of God to have an impact in people’s lives?
  7. What are the tangible results you can see from Joseph’s obedience to God’s leading in his life?
  8. How might the Lord want to use your obedience to bring about the provision for and protection of the precious work of Jesus?
  9. What do you sense the Lord calling you to do say, do, or not say or do right now?
