Come close at the cross, the meeting point of:

  1. Jesus’ greatest , pain & brokenness.
2) Our greatest , failures, & needs.
3) God’s great , acceptance, & healing.

Applying God's Word to Life

  1. What were some of the first secrets you learned to hide from others?
  2. What are examples of the types of things we keep secret from others? Why?
  3. How passionate are you about your privacy? Why?
  4. What does it take to move you to share more and deeper truths about your private life and experience with others?
  5. Describe the circles of intimacy in your life — who’s in each? Why?
  6. What has God done to win your heart toward the idea of having an intimate relationship with God through Christ?
  7. What is it about Jesus that makes you want to know Him and walk with Him?
  8. To what degree was intimacy, availability and emotional engagement modeled by your parents growing up?
  9. How would you describe the level of intimacy, availability, and emotional engagement that you offer to your loved ones?
  10. To what degree have you experienced the intimacy with God and people that has been made possible through the cross?
  11. What relational need do you most want Jesus’ help with today?
