Hebrews 12:1-16

By Pastor Kelly Mahoney, March 03, 2024

The winning way requires:

  1. from the relational victors.
2. on pains from those who trained us.
3. out relational barriers to God’s grace.

Applying God's Word to Life

  1. Give an example of a competition you enjoy and a competitor that you admire in that realm of competition? What makes them great?
  2. What must be overcome in order to be victorious in your favorite realm of competition?
  3. What are some of the hardest challenges when it comes to long-term relationships with family, friends, and enemies? Why?
  4. What are some of the good things and bad things about the discipline you recieved during your formative years?
  5. What are some of the good things and the hard things that may have shaped your parents that may have informed how they raised you?
  6. What things make you thankful for the parents you had or for the people who nurtured you as you were growing up?
  7. Are you able to be honest enough to identify wounds you are still nursing that came your way intentionally or unintentionally?
  8. What fruits have caused you to consider that their may be some roots that need to be unearthed and removed with Jesus’ help?
  9. What faith-filled, fear-filled step are you sensing God wants you to take right now? Are you willing to say “Yes” to Him?
