Second Chance Adam

Romans 5:12-21

By Pastor Kelly Mahoney, June 09, 2024

Faith in our second chance Adam secures:

  1. for bankrupt sinners steeped in debt.
  1. to convicts facing judgement.
  1. to terminal patients born to die.
  1. to the guilty previously condemned.
  1. life to subjects ruled by death.

Applying God's Word to Life

  1. How have second chances been a blessing to you in life? Explain?

  2. In what ways have you experienced the extravagance of grace where you knew you got something you did not deserve for free?

  3. What effect has the reality of death had on you and those you love?

  4. When have you felt the relief of having “passed from death to life?”

  5. When have you felt the power of condemnation?

  6. When have you felt the love of being genuinely accepted?

  7. What was lost in the fall of Adam and how does that loss affect everyday life?

  8. What was secured through the obedience of the second Adam and how can faith in Him change everyday life?

  9. How confident that you’d go to heaven if you died today? Why?

  10. How does eternal life in Christ change how you feel, how you think and how you act?

  11. How is our second chance Adam leading you to think or act differently in view of what He’s done for you?

  12. How will you live out the life He died to secure for you right now?
