Blessed & Burdened with Questions

Romans 9:1-33

By Pastor Kelly Mahoney, July 21, 2024

God’s chosen nation missed out because:

  1. God’s shows not all are chosen.
2) God is in matters of mercy.
3) God’s foretold our inclusion.
4) God requires in Him, not works.

Applying God's Word to Life

  1. What are some of the hardest things to understand? What phrase do you use to tell others something is beyond your understanding?

  2. What are some things you feel you do and do not understand?

  3. How had you previously thought about the story of God choosing Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael, or Jacob and Esau? How about now?

  4. What can we learn from the story of Moses and Pharoah?

  5. Why doesn’t it make sense for the clay to criticize the potter?

  6. In what ways have you shared in Paul’s burden for the unreached?

  7. In what ways have you shared in Paul’s mission to get God’s message out to others?

  8. How well do you think you’d do against God in the game of chess?

  9. What compels you to live by faith in Jesus?

  10. What promises are given to all who build their life upon Jesus, the promised one?

  11. How does the Lord want you to live in the blessings of the gospel?

  12. What will you do with the questions you are still burdened with?

  13. How will you walk in the truths you understand this week?
