The Lord is our safe refuge because: The Lord is . The Lord . The Lord will . Applying God's Word to Life Have you ever felt like escaping “like a bird to your mountain?” What was the circumstance? What would Jesus have done in that circumstance? Have you ever felt that God was giving you peace in an impossible circumstance? Did it help to remember that the Lord is on the throne, that he watches and was keenly aware of your situation, and that He will eventually deal with it justly? Are there situations you are facing now that make it hard to trust the Lord as your refuge? Have you ever been tempted to be impatient with the Lord because He did not answer your prayers for help? What has helped you to grow in your faith that the Lord is your refuge? If the candidate you are voting for does not win the election, how will making the Lord your refuge give you strength? In light of Psalm 11, do you think the future is bright or dark? Announcements Member Directory Update: Our member directory is long overdue for an update. Please help us do this.
