What made it so intense? How about a real-life interaction that put you on the edge of your seat? What factors have made it hard for people to hear and believe the gospel through the years from Jesus day until now? If you want to win a hearing for Jesus and his kingdom, what factors are within your control that could make a positive contribution? Why should we want to win a hearing for the gospel in the first place? What does it look like for our words to come under Christ’s control? What influences could potentially compete with the Spirit’s control of our minds, hearts, and tongues? Why is it important for our words and our walk to match one another? What might it look like to live the Christian example for you right now? What did it look like for Jesus to secure our hearts and lives for Him? What are some of the “good deeds” the Lord may want to bring about through your faith and surrender to Him? What will your “yes” to the Holy Spirit look like today, and in this season of you life?
