Designed & Destined for Relationships

Gen. 1-2, Rev. 21

By Pastor Kelly Mahoney, February 15, 2026

God’s design and destiny shows we are made for:

  1. with God.
  1. with other believers.
  1. work.

Applying God's Word to Life

  1. Give an example of using something in a way it was never intended it to be used. What’s wrong with using it in that way?
  2. How do you come to understand the applications, care instructions, and best practices for using most items?
  3. How does the designer’s intent impact our purpose?
  4. What are the symptoms that we are operating outside of God’s intensions, purposes, and design parameters?
  5. How does God’s story help us to understand history and our personal story?
  6. What holds people back from fully experiencing the close relationship with God that He designed and destined them for?
  7. What keeps people from fully experiencing the level of connection and support with other people that God designed and destined them for?
  8. What do you see in God’s word that helps us understand how He intended for His people to interact with the created world?
  9. How can you take steps to fully experience God’s relational plan for you in each of these essential relationships?
10)What will you do this week and in this season of your life to pursue the relationships that designed and destined you for?
