World Changing Starts at Home

2 Tim. 1:2-11; 1 Tim. 4:10-16

By Pastor Kelly Mahoney, May 10, 2026

To change the world, a child must choose to:

  1. the living faith modeled for them.
2) God’s gracious gifts to equip their service.
3) their faith and gifting for God’s service.

Applying God's Word to Life

  1. What have you seen and heard from your mother that you hope to make part of your life?
  2. How has your mom impacted your faith-life for good?
  3. What are the essential elements that move us to describe someone’s faith as genuine and alive?
  4. What makes the life of faith compelling compared to all the other options?
  5. What does it take to transition from “the faith of your family” to having a genuine and personal faith that is your very own? When and how did you make that transition?
  6. Beyond your family, who else has God used to nurture and grow your spiritual life?
  7. What are some of the gifts God offers to His children?
  8. How can we grow in the gifts that are offered by God?
  9. What is unique about the gifts that God offers to his children?
  10. What is the individual’s part in bringing about much needed changes in this world?
  11. What is one way you hope to grow during this season of you life so that you do your part to fulfill the prayer Jesus taught us to pray?
  12. What choice are you making today that could change your world?
