What is required of a people that will listen to the voice of the Lord and recognize it from wherever it may come? Why is Judah so willing to follow the voice of the Lord as it is delivered through Jehaziel? What do you make of this mixture of good and evil in that they rejoiced in the work of God over their enemies while at the same time the Scripture saying that they ‘had not yet set their hearts upon the God of their fathers’ (20:33)? What are the practices you follow that assist you in hearing the voice of the Lord? Are there changes that need to be made in your practice to allow Him to speak in a way that you can hear?
