Applying God's Word to Life When did you have an “aha” moment where you suddenly understood something you’d heard many times before? What changed? As you look back, what evidence to you see that God was pursuing you that you may know Him through Christ? What truths about Jesus became real to you when you trusted Him that you hadn't fully understood or embraced before? What are some of the benefits of being in Christ you have experienced? What is the difference between trying to “be a better person” and living with the Holy Spirit's presence in your life? Where have you seen the Holy Spirit gradually changing your character over the years? What fruit has He been growing in you? After reflecting on the Holy Spirit's work to bring us real life, what is one specific way you want to respond to Him this week? How will it look like to surrender more this week?
