The Treasure in Jars of Clay

  The Treasure is Eternal

Applying God's Word to Life

  1. What are three things that you wish were better in your life?
  2. What is something that was a difficulty previously (last year or longer ago) that has since taken on a new perspective?
  3. How have you seen unbelievers ‘blinded’ by the god of this age?
  4. The treasure of the believer is the gospel and the Lord Jesus Himself.  How have you experienced what Paul talks about in vs. 8-10?
  5. Why does the apostle dismiss the idea of ‘giving up’?
  6. What are your habits/routines that allow you to be renewed ‘day by day’?
  7. The apostle encourages the believer to focus on the eternal.  Some would say that believers are so ‘heavenly minded that they are no earthly good’.  How do you reconcile those thoughts?
