(Colossians 1:28-29 NIV) He is the one we proclaim (LOVE), admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom (LEARN), so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ (LEAD). To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me (LIVE). LOVE: fully and truly. LEARN: His and His WAYS. LEAD: To Total . LIVE: lives. (John 20:21-22 NIV) Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 1:5-6 NIV) On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” Three Benefits of the Holy Spirit (John 14:16-17 NLT) And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. 1. The Holy Spirit . (John 14:26 NIV) ... the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have (John 16:13 NIV) when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 2. The Holy Spirit . (John 15:26 NIV) When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me. (Romans 8:16 NLT) The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. (1 Corinthians 12:3 NIV) ... I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit. 3. The Holy Spirit . (Acts 1:8 NIV) “...you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (2 Corinthians 3:18 NLT) So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. (Galatians 5:22-23 NLT) the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
