This list is not exhaustive, and we would like to encourage you to study these passages more in depth. Gender There is only two—Genesis 1:27, Genesis 2:21-25, Matthew 19:4-6 Marriage Marriage is created and defined by God. Marriage is the union of one man and woman for all of life—Genesis 2:24, Isaiah 62:5, Matthew 19:4-6, Ephesians 5:21-33, Colossians 3:18-19, Hebrews 13:4 Sex Sex is a gift from God and is reserved for marriage. Any sexual act outside of marriage is sin—Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19: 4-6, Romans 7:1-3, 1 Corinthians 6:7-11, 1 Corinthians 7:1-5, Galatians 5:19-26, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-7, Hebrews 13:4, 1 Peter 4:1-6, Jude 1:7-8 Homosexuality Homosexuality is a sin—Genesis 2:21-25, Genesis 19:5-7, Leviticus 18:22-24, Leviticus 20:13, Matthew 19:4-6, Romans 1:18-32, 1 Corinthians 6:9-20, 1 Timothy 1:8-11, Jude 1:7-8 Transgenderism This belief has two claims: One, that people are born into the wrong gender, and two, that people can choose which gender they identify with.
