Websters – Vision - the act or power of

Just because you have two functional eyes doesn’t mean we can see spiritual truth.

What does want us to see?

Our vision for our church is God’s vision for His church.

One Family

The church in the NT is described as:

The of Christ, the of Christ, the of God

The common component? There is only !

All Nations

God’s heart and plan is to save the world, for all men and women to come to know Him

The first church was . It was made up of different language groups.

In the apostle John’s vision of heaven, remember what he said;

“Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation” Rev. 5:9

Gifted for Others

God never intended His church to be a sport.

God didn’t save you and me just to get us to heaven. We all have a God given purpose – ministry – job

,

Accepted

Therefore accept one another as Christ has accepted you,” for the glory of God. Romans 15:7

Why is it so for us to obey this? We see the sin and flaws in others and judge them for it.

“have you not then made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?” James 2:4

“But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors.” James 2:9

In the family of God, the bride of Christ, the body of Christ, there is no room for a , .

We must accept one another, just as God has accepted us.

What is the takeaway from this message?

We are living in a world that desperately needs this message and desperately needs to see it in action.
