Daniel 2:1-23

The book of Daniel is full of people acting like beasts - devouring and destroying other people (Galatians 5:14-15).

The book of Daniel is also full of Godly individuals who show us to how remain wise and faithful when attacked by the beasts of this life.

How do beasts respond to fear and panic? Daniel 2:1-13

  • Daniel 2:1 -
  • Daniel 2:2-3 - Looking to wisdom
  • Daniel 2:4-6 - Demands and Harsh
  • Daniel 2:7-9 - Negative and refusal to
  • Daniel 2:12-13 - , damage, and hurting others who are not

In our sinful flesh, we are all capable of responding with these beastly responses!

How does God want His children to respond to fear and panic? Daniel 2:14-23

Practical steps:

  • Stop rehearsing the what if and start resting in the even if.
  • Surrender your illusion of control.
  • Remind yourself - you are as safe in the storm as you are in the stillness.

  • In our flesh, we are all capable of beastly responses. As children of God, we are empowered to respond with faith and wisdom in the face of fear and panic.
