Oates Prelude Bonnie Leonhart Choral Call to Worship “Majesty, Worship His Majesty” UMH 176 Opening Prayer from Psalm 8 Jayne Whitlow Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! When I look at your skies, at what your fingers made—the moon and stars that you set firmly in place what are human beings that you think about us; what are human beings that you pay attention to us? You’ve made us only slightly less than divine. We thank you, Lord, that you have made us the stewards of your creation. Help us keep in mind and action that privilege. In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen. Our Mission: We exist to see all people find Hope, Healing, and Wholeness through Jesus Christ. Father's Day is a day set aside for honoring one's father, as well as fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. “Father's Day” complements similar celebrations honoring family members, such as Mother's Day and, in some countries, Siblings Day, and Grandparents' Day. The day is held on various dates across the world, and different regions maintain their own traditions of honoring fatherhood.
