Prelude Bonnie Leonhart

Call to Worship Fred Moore
Filled with excitement, all the happy throng
spread cloaks and branches on the city streets.
There is the distance they begin to see,
riding on a donkey, comes the Son of God.
From every corner a thousand voices sing
praises to him who comes in the name of God Hosanna! Hosanna to the King!
Hosanna! Hosanna to the King!

Hymn What Wondrous Love Is This Vs, 1, 2, & 3 UMH 292

Opening Prayer Fred Moore
Almighty God, when we attempt to walk in the footsteps of Jesus, he leads us toward service and sacrifice. He was the sacrifice so that you would offer us forgiveness, second chances and hope. We know your love for us through him. Thank you for your Son,
who taught us to love extravagantly and give generously. Amen.

Scripture Lesson Mark 11:7-10 Fred Moore

Morning Prayer & The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not
into temptation but deliver us from evil, for thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory for ever. Amen.

Prayer of Dedication
As we present these gifts, O God, we thank you for the gift of your Son, our Savior in whose footsteps we want to walk. He taught us to welcome the outcast and to have a quick hand to help the needy. Give us eyes to see and a will to respond. Accept these gifts as our sacrifice of praise. Amen.

Our Mission:
Making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the World

“Jesus’ way calls for authentic followers, not religious hypocrites. His is a way that requires compassion for the hungry and thirsty and naked. Jesus’ way is a path of servant hood and sacrificial love. And ultimately, walking in his footsteps will require us to ‘take up our cross’ and follow him”. - The Way by Adam Hamilton, pg. 158
