Call to Worship Roger Bush

When Israel was in Egypt’s land,
let my people go;
oppressed so hard they could not stand,
let my people go.
Go down, Moses, way down in Egypt’s land;
tell old, Pharaoh to let my people go.

Hymn This Is My Song UMH 437

Opening Prayer Roger Bush
We give you thanks for your faithfulness to the promise given to Abraham and Sarah. You brought forth from them a mighty nation and through out generations that mighty nation has become us. Thank you for the labor of our hands, hearts, and
minds. From the poultry worker to the business person in a million dollar office, all our work is blessed by you. Thank you Lord. Amen

Morning Prayer & The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory for ever. Amen.

Doxology UMH 94

Prayer of Dedication
Reconciling God, you mark our lives not with fear, but with mercy, and you gather us into a people shaped by grace. As you delivered your children at Passover and taught your church to seek peace with one another, teach us to live in our “church clothes” every day—clothed in patience, truth, and love. Receive these gifts as signs of our trust in your saving power Amen.

Congregational Appreciation
The silk flowers on the altar are given to glorify God by the Altar Guild.

The Altar Guild has partnered with Dudley Florist to provide our altar flowers. Two types of
arrangements are available at $30 or $40 per vase depending on what the individeual wants regarding amount of flowers, colors, etc. For more information, contact the church office. There are new sponsorship forms on the Welcome Table in the Gathering Space.

Our Mission:

Making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the World

Regarding Conflict
Like the Israelites on the night of the first Passover, remember as a congregation that we can face the conflicts in our world—the ones we can reconcile and the ones we can’t—because God is with us. When we feel the most threatened and the most under attack, God does not call us to further conflict. God calls us to come together and remember, to lean not on our own devices but to find our refuge together in God who calls, protects, and guides us.
