Choral Introit “Now I Have Everything” Chancel Choir Words and Music by Charlie Yandell and David Ingles

Call to Worship Wes Bargeloh
I will sing to the Lord, for an overflowing victory! Horse and rider he threw into the sea!
The Lord is my strength and my power;
he has become my salvation.

Hymn Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah UMH 127

Opening Prayer Wes Bargeloh
Mighty, water-dividing God, you made sure the way of the Israelites was safe. You allowed them to cross on dry ground. They were witnesses of your power. So lead us through the waters of reconciliation. Bathe us in your grace so that we will be more forgiving, even seventy times seven. In the name of Jesus the Christ we pray, Amen.

Morning Prayer & The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory for ever. Amen

Doxology UMH 94

Prayer of Dedication
Merciful Deliverer, you part the waters when we feel trapped and forgive debts too great to repay. In the face of fear and brokenness, you lead us with compassion and grace. May the gifts we bring today reflect our deep gratitude for your mercy. Use them to bring hope and joy to others. Amen.

Our Mission:

Making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the World

Grace that leads to Forgiveness

We are cleansed, inspired, redeemed, and formed by grace that we may be God’s agents of grace. Grace holds boundaries while extending forgiveness when boundaries are crossed. Grace tells the truth without shaming others. Grace recognizes that we all have gifts and strengths that benefit the community and finds ways for us to work collectively rather than in competition. All of this and more is made possible by grace and, by extension, forgiveness.
