1.Mindset of prosperity and increase. God is a God of blessing and increase. He has plans to prosper your life . You will never be able to establish a Kingdom Financial Plan with a poverty mindset. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. 2.Planning God is a God of detail and planning Proverbs 13:16 Every prudent man deals with knowledge, but a [self-confident] fool exposes and flaunts his folly. Proverbs 27:23 Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, and look well to your herds; The First step to building Kingdom wealth is planning! You have to know the condition of your finances. It may be a mess, but you have to start from a place of knowledge. Luke 28:28 For which of you, wishing to build a [h]farm building, does not first sit down and calculate the cost [to see] whether he has sufficient means to finish it? Planning doesn’t mean not taking steps of faith that on the surface appear risky. Ecclesiastes 11:4 He who observes the wind [and waits for all conditions to be favorable] will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap. 3.Financial Opportunities All Kingdom Financial opportunity will be confirmed by the Holy Spirit. God will open doors for your financial success and the Holy Spirit will be the one to guide you into them. John16:13 But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future]. a. Giving- The greatest of all financial opportunities in a Kingdom financial plan is the opportunity to give. Giving blesses the giver and the receiver. God uses our generosity to not only meet physical needs, but to bring healing to hurts, release things in the Spirit realm, and ultimately bring Glory to God and further His Kingdom. b. Investments- God is a God of diversification Ecclesiastes 11:1 Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days. 2 Give a portion to seven, yes, even [divide it] to eight, for you know not what evil may come upon the earth. All Investments that make money ARE NOT Kingdom investments Kingdom investment is not won/done in Haste. Kingdom investment can not be in the production of things detrimental to mankind Proverbs 13:11 Wealth [not earned but] won in haste or unjustly or from the production of things for vain or detrimental use [such riches] will dwindle away, but he who gathers little by little will increase [his riches]. Proverbs 28:20 A faithful man shall abound with blessings, but he who makes haste to be rich [at any cost] shall not go unpunished. Kingdom investment will never defraud, oppress or take advantage of another. That is ill-gotten gain and it violates the principles and heart of God. Lev. 19:13 You shall not defraud or oppress your neighbor or rob him; the wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until morning. Ps. 112:5 It is well with the man who deals generously and lends, who conducts his affairs with justice. Proverbs 28:8 He who by charging excessive interest and who by unjust efforts to get gain increases his material possession gathers it for him [to spend] who is kind and generous to the poor. c. Saving. Saving is not hoarding. Saving is holding resources for a purpose. Hoarding is holding resources out of greed or fear. There are times the Holy Spirit will direct you specifically to save Saving is the recognition of the value of resources and an unwillingness to be foolish enough to WASTE them Proverbs 21:20 There are precious treasures and oil in the dwelling of the wise, but a self-confident and foolish man swallows it up and wastes it. 4. Stewardship- Matthew 25:14 For it is like a man who was about to take a long journey, and he called his servants together and entrusted them with his property. 15 To one he gave five talents [probably about $5,000], to another two, to another one—to each in proportion to his own [a]personal ability. Then he departed and left the country. 16 He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he gained five talents more. 17 And likewise he who had received the two talents—he also gained two talents more. 18 But he who had received the one talent went and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money. 19 Now after a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. 20 And he who had received the five talents came and brought him five more, saying, Master, you entrusted to me five talents; see, here I have gained five talents more. 21 His master said to him, Well done, you upright (honorable, [b]admirable) and faithful servant! You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little; I will put you in charge of much. Enter into and share the joy (the delight, the [c]blessedness) which your master enjoys. 22 And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, Master, you entrusted two talents to me; here I have gained two talents more. 23 His master said to him, Well done, you upright (honorable, [d]admirable) and faithful servant! You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little; I will put you in charge of much. Enter into and share the joy (the delight, the [e]blessedness) which your master enjoys. 24 He who had received one talent also came forward, saying, Master, I knew you to be a harsh and hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you had not winnowed [the grain]. 25 So I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here you have what is your own. 26 But his master answered him, You wicked and lazy and idle servant! Did you indeed know that I reap where I have not sowed and gather [grain] where I have not winnowed? 27 Then you should have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received what was my own with interest. 28 So take the talent away from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. 29 For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will be [f]furnished richly so that he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have will be taken away. Stewardship is properly managing what you have, in accordance with God’s principles of planning, giving, investing, and saving. Stewardship is living a financially balanced life. Stewardship is not permission to operate in fear, greed or stinginess. Stewardship is recognizing that everything I posess belongs to God, and that He has the right to ask any of it from me. Stewardship is listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Stewardship is understanding the true character of God! Stewardship is making the resources God has entrusted to you GROW
