Sermon Notes Template Sermon Title If you have any questions from the message today, send them here and I'll follow up! “Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” (Philippians 2:12–13, ESV) Working Out Our Salvation “Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,” (Philippians 2:12, ESV) What Does it Mean to be “Saved”? “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” (Ephesians 2:8–9, ESV) To be “saved” is the explosive reality that you are not who you were, but are transforming into who you will become. Connected to the Source “…for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” (Philippians 2:13, ESV) Connecting to the Source As always, if you'd like to talk more with me about anything we discussed, you can sign up for meeting time.
