When we stop trusting God’s promises and start taking matters into our own hands, the people most easily overlooked, (the ‘nobody’s’) are often the ones most deeply hurt. There are three things we see in this passage… I – They stopped God’s promise! (Genesis 16:1-2) II – They started the woman! (Genesis 16:3-4) III – They end up the pain!
