BIBLE READINGS Acts 9:1-19 1 Timothy 1:12-17 Luke 19:1-10 MY NOTES MIDWEEK READINGS Paul Preaches in Damascus - Acts 9:19-22 Paul in Jerusalem – Acts 9:26-31 Peter Heals – Acts 9:32-25 5-Day Devotional – Saul’s Transformation 5-Day Devotional: Saul’s Transformation 🌄 Day 1: A Transformed Perspective 📖 Reading: Acts 9:1–9 💬 Sermon Quote: “His intensity did not disappear. It was redirected. Jesus took the passion and used it to build, not break, the church.” 🧠 Reflection: Saul was on a mission to crush the church. He was certain he was right—righteous even. But when the risen Jesus confronted him, everything changed. His spiritual blindness was exposed through literal blindness. His perspective was no longer driven by zeal, but transformed by grace. 🙏 Questions: Have you ever been certain you were right, only to be shown another way? What parts of your perspective might need transformation by Jesus today? 🤝 Day 2: The Gift of Others 📖 Reading: Acts 9:10–17 💬 Sermon Quote: “Ananias had ministered to him in his time of need.” 🧠 Reflection: Jesus didn’t just appear to Saul and leave him alone. He sent someone—Ananias. Someone to walk with him, lay hands on him, speak words of grace. Saul’s healing was relational. Transformation almost always is. God chooses to work through others. 🙏 Questions: Who has walked with you during seasons of change or uncertainty? Is God calling you to be an “Ananias” to someone in your life? 🌿 Day 3: Healing and Belonging 📖 Reading: Acts 9:18–19, 26–27 💬 Sermon Quote: “He experienced grace, forgiveness and love.” 🧠 Reflection: The scales fall from Saul’s eyes, and everything changes. But there’s still a challenge—many don’t trust him. Barnabas, like Ananias, steps in and vouches for Saul. This act of welcome and grace brings him into the community of believers. 🙏 Questions: When have you been welcomed back after failure or doubt? Who in your life needs the healing gift of welcome and trust? ✝️ Day 4: A New Purpose 📖 Reading: Acts 9:20–22 💬 Sermon Quote: “His life purpose changed entirely.” 🧠 Reflection: Saul came to Damascus breathing threats. Now he’s proclaiming Jesus as the Son of God. His whole direction in life is reversed. Grace doesn’t just restore us—it repurposes us. Saul becomes Paul, a vessel for God’s love. 🙏 Questions: What has God repurposed in your life for mission? What might need to be surrendered so that God can redirect you? 🕊️ Day 5: The Call to Be Ananias 📖 Reading: Isaiah 6:8 💬 Sermon Quote: “Who in your life needs an Ananias—your prayers, your courage, your willingness to walk with them toward healing?” 🧠 Reflection: The story of Saul reminds us not only that we can be changed—but that we can be a part of someone else’s transformation. Jesus is still calling people today… and still using people like Ananias to be the bridge. Will you say yes? 🙏 Questions: Who in your life might need grace, courage, or someone to believe in them? How can you show up for them this week?
